Another spam letter ....

I received another spam letter again. Why so many people want to cheat people...

Please read below email I recieved:

Sir/Madam

This mail might be seen as a suprise and confusing to you but you must know that it is real and had to be kept confidentially or erased immediately if you are not interested or you know deep in your conscience that your are not capable of handling or respecting its confidentiality.

My name is Mrs Mariam Ernestina Catulo .I come from the Republic of Angola. I am now 51 years old. I was married to late Mr João Pedro Hassan Catulo who worked for fifteen years with the Marine de Guerre Angolaise(MGA) founded on July 10th, 1976 .He was also the Chief of protocol of the chief of general staff of this branch of Angolan arm forces, l`Amiral Feliciano Dos Santos " Paxe ". Before he died on the July 28th, 2002. He died after a brief illness which only lasted four days. Before his death we were both true devoted Muslims .

We were married for eleven years without children beacause i was diagnosed to be barren. We later adopted two children,a boy and a girl from the motherless baby home but unfortunately they both died mysteriously in the year 2000 and 2002 respectively after they complained of some strange ailments which the doctors where never able to diagnose.

After the death of my husband I decided not to remarry or do any further adoption . During the lifetime of my late husband, he deposited the sum of $6.8 Million American dollars (Six millions Eight hundred thousand American dollars) in a coded account in a Financial Institution here in Abidjan Ivory Coast.

To be more truthful, just before his death he revealed to me that this money was the percentage he received for his involvement and participation in the diversion of a huge sum of money budgeted by the Angolan Government for the purchase of military equipments, hardwares and logistics from China and Russia for the Marine de Guerre Angolaise(MGA) in the beginning of the year 2003 but this was before his conversion to Islam.

I am a religious woman and i wouldn't want wealth acquired in an illegal way to be an obstacle for me to achieve my spitual goals .

Presently, this fund is still in this Financial Institution. Recently, i got a very sad and devastating news from my doctor that i am suffering fron a serious illness BREAST CANCER at a very deteriorating state. The sickness which disturbs me most is kidney failure and i have been undergoing dialysis for sometime now. Having known my poor state of health I have decided to give this fund to a foreign humanitarian organization or a trustworthy person strictly outside African continent who will use this fund in accordance to my instructions and directions.

I am now seeking for a foreign humanitarian organization or a trusworthy person who will invest this funds for the research for the cure of breast cancer, to assist children suffering from cancer and for other humanitarian services.

I made this decision because I have no child who could inherit this fund and unfortunately the relation of my late husband are neither Christians or Muslims . I do not want the efforts of my late husband to be squandered by atheists. I wouldn't want a situation where this fund will be used only on earthly things reasons for which I made this strong decision.

As soon as i receive your response I would send you the contact of this Financial Institution here in Abidjan. I shall also send you the certificate of deposit of this fund which will prove to you that I am the actual beneficially of this fund.

Do contact me through my private email address below for more informations, please reassure me that you will act in accordances to my above instructions . Do also send me your personal contact address, including your telephone number so that i can get back to you.

PLEASE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT SEND ME YOUR RESPONSE TO THIS MY PRIVATE BOX FOR SECURITY REASONS :- mme.mariam-catulo@post.com
Hoping to hear from you soonest .

Yours Sincerely,
Mrs. Mariam Ernestina Catulo

Hope everyone be aware of those letter. Nothing come with free for you.

Link from KU to Federal Highway in 2010

Found this news in the property forum. If the highway is completed, then I have no worry to work if I move to Kemuning Utama.

RM600m highway for Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR: A new RM600mil highway project under the 9th Malaysia Plan to link the Kesas Kota Kemuning Interchange with the Federal Highway is set to roll out by next year.

Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, who witnessed the signing ceremony between the Government and concessionaire Projek Lintasan Shah Alam Sdn Bhd (PLSA) yesterday, said it would bring socio-economic benefit to Shah Alam.

“Shah Alam and Kota Kemuning have both grown beyond expectations. With this highway, the standard of life of residents will improve,” Samy Vellu said.

The 14.7km highway will be built and managed by PLSA, which is 90% owned by Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas), the concessionaire for the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur elevated highway.

According to Prolintas CEO Zainudin A. Kadir, construction work on the new highway will begin in July 2007 and the highway should be completed by 2010.

Zainudin said a pre-qualification notice would be put out today to invite interested parties, and tenders would be awarded in June.

Samy Vellu said the concession agreement would be for 40 years and the highway would be a three-lane, dual carriageway with six interchanges and a new bridge over the Klang River.

“The highway will start at the existing Kesas Kota Kemuning Interchange and traverse north-east towards the existing Federal Highway Route 2 interchange (Shah Alam exit) with two toll plazas at Alam Impian and Seri Muda,” he said.

He added that the highway would pass Jalan Bukit Kemuning, Jalan Jitu, Jalan Padu, Jalan Mantap, Bulatan Jubli Perak, Jalan Parang and Bulatan Selangor.

PLSA chairman Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman said the highway would also provide an alternative route for those heading to the Kesas highway from Shah Alam.

“To put it simply, it will reduce travel time from 30 minutes to seven minutes during peak hours.”

Pak Lah Wedding.. Congrate !!!

The new is quoted from the star

PUTRAJAYA: Like any groom-to-be, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has become a target of friendly banter wherever he now goes.

At the Internal Security Ministry yesterday, the normally officious excellence awards presentation took an informal and cheerful note when staff rushed to greet him with cries of Selamat Pengantin Baru.

There were handshakes, laughter and applause among the staff at the mere mention of the Prime Minister’s name and his bride-to-be Jeanne Abdullah

Even ministry secretary-general Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Yusoff was caught in the excitement, saying he had to ask Abdullah on the correct way to pronounce Jeanne’s name.

(At the Wednesday press conference where he announced his impending marriage, Abdullah used the French way of pronouncing the name, zhahn).

Abdul Aziz joked that it was a difficult name for Malaysians to say.

“Datuk Seri then told me that it is okay to pronounce it as Jean,” he told reporters.

Abdul Aziz said he had received the circular from the Chief Secretary to the Government to inform all civil servants to address her as Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah, after the akad nikah (solemnisation of marriage) today.

He conveyed the well wishes of the ministry’s staff to Abdullah, who is also Internal Security Minister, adding: “We wish him and his partner everlasting joy and happiness.”

Abdul Aziz then dedicated a pantun to the Prime Minister and Jeanne: (see graphic on the right)

In his speech, the Prime Minister hoped that he and his future wife would live happily and harmoniously, and thanked the ministry’s staff as well as the public, for their well wishes.

“I will bring my wife along for future ministry functions and you will all be able to meet her,” he said, to resounding applause.
